The D type was the successor to the incredibly successful C Type, but it was not an evolution; it was a revolution! It masterfully blended aviation and racing technology. The end result was a technological tour de force that could not be matched by Mercedes or Ferrari. She was as beautiful as she was fast. Her aerodynamic aluminum body slipped through the air at 180 mph. Her aircraft derived disc brakes were the best in the world and allowed her drivers to keep their foot in the throttle further down the Mulsanne straight.
Our tribute to the original D type is faithful in its dimensions and in cockpit layout. The body is of English wheel rolled aluminum which is far superior in fitment and finish to the hammered panels offered by some other companies. The metal workmanship is so good that even in bare metal there is a near mirror finish on many of the panels. Every panel, every bracket, every louver and every fitting is custom made and hand fitted to ensure a superb level of fit and finish
Bodies may be ordered as the short nose version with option removable short fin, long nose with the tall fin or a combination to suit your particular taste.

In addition to build options you may also choose the level of completeness. You may order:
1) a bare body and chassis which will be shipped on a custom trolley
2) a complete bare body and chassis plus suspension, fuel tank, wiring harness, instrumentation and braking system
3) EBD – everything but drivetrain. This will look like a complete new vehicle with show quality paint, full interior, full instrumentation, completely wired and plumbed, fuel tank, full suspension but no engine or gearbox
